During Fire Prevention Week, October 3 - 9, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Service encourages residents to Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety.
This year's Fire Prevention Week campaign, "Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety" works to educate people about the different sounds of fire safety in the home. Is there a beep or a chirp coming out of your smoke or carbon monoxide alarm? What does it mean? Knowing the difference can save you, your home and your family! Make sure everyone in the home understands the sounds of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and knows how to respond.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Lethbridge Fire Prevention Bureau will not be able to do in-person presentations at schools or other facilities however they will be available to answer any questions or concerns the public has on this topic.
