From Mayor Chris Spearman:
On behalf of Lethbridge City Council, I would like to express our sincere sympathy on the passing of former MLA Clint Dunford to his wife Gwen and his family.
Clint was a dedicated MLA for Lethbridge West for 15 years from 1993 to 2008, working closely with Lethbridge City Council, school boards and countless community organizations. He served in several provincial cabinet posts during that time. He was proud of Lethbridge and was an enthusiastic advocate for our city.
Prior to becoming an MLA, Clint worked in management at Dresser Clark Industries and subsequently ran his own consulting business C.E.D. Consulting.
He was actively involved in our community, an advocate for seniors and worked closely with the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce.
In retirement, Clint was an avid fan of the Lethbridge Bulls baseball team and continued to attend community events in our city.
Clint Dunford will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by myself and many others throughout our city.
