At approximately 6:40 p.m. Monday night, fire crews responded to a residential fire on 12 Street A North.
Eighteen firefighters with seven apparatus arrived to find visible flames on the exterior of the residence. Crews were able to quickly bring the fire under control.
Paramedics transported one resident to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. One firefighter also sustained minor injuries.
Damage is estimated at $175,000. The fire is still under investigation.
