Residents in the Copperwood area are advised of a large-scale planned power outage on Friday, July 16.
Between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., Electric crews will be carrying out a planned power outage affecting approximately 400 residents in the area along:
- Coalbanks Bloulevard
- Twinriver Crescent
- Twinriver Loop
- Firelight Place
- areas of Firelight Way
- Coalbanks Close
- Coalbrook Close
- Coalbanks Link
This planned outage is required to allow Electric crews to move electrical lines that are in the way of the future Metis Trail South of Coalbanks Link entrance to Copperwood. The planned outage will take approximately 6 hours.
Residents should note garage doors will not work during a power outage. Prior to a planned power outage, remember to pull your vehicle out of the garage.
There is digital signage placed at the two entrances to Copperwood to help inform the public of the scheduled outage.
