Paid parking to again be required Downtown

Beginning Monday, January 18, paid parking will again be required in Downtown Lethbridge.

To prepare residents for the return of regular parking operations, enforcement officers will place notices on windshields starting Monday, January 11, reminding customers to pay for parking starting again on January 18.

As part of a holiday promotion, paid parking in Downtown Lethbridge has been temporarily suspended since December 14, with a holiday message of: "No payment required. Joyous wishes from the City of Lethbridge."

In addition, two downtown monthly parking incentives have been extended to March 31, 2021. These are: A 50% reduction on the monthly Zone 10 parking permit price from $72 to $36; a 50% reduction on the monthly parking permit at the Lethbridge Park 'n' Ride Transit Terminal from $105 to $52.50.

Customers are encouraged to download the Way to Park app for contactless payment options. If this is not possible, customers should take proper precautions to clean/sanitize hands thoroughly after using parking kiosks.
