Pancakes and Power Poles

The City of Lethbridge's electrical department invites you to the first ever Pancakes and Power Poles charity breakfast, Saturday, August 17 from 9-11 a.m. in the ENMAX Centre parking lot.

Enjoy a toonie breakfast of pancakes, sausages, hashbrowns and drinks for the first 400 people, with all proceeds going to Harbor House, all while learning about our City's electrical department.

Most of us take for granted that every time we flip the switch, the lights come on, when we need a snack, the fridge is cold and when our favourite show is about to come on, our TV works. What we don't often think about is what it takes to run the electrical system in our city.

Come meet the people and see the equipment needed to operate the City of Lethbridge electrical department. Enjoy free give-aways, watch pole-top rescue demos and climb on electrical truck and equipment and take the power pedal interactive bike for a spin. There will be lots to see and do for the whole family.
