The City is looking for additional feedback on possible future dog park locations. Whether or not you are a dog owner or dog park user, all residents are encouraged to participate in the survey.
The City conducted Phase 1 of the additional dog parks engagement May 30 to June 27, 2022. The public survey asked for feedback on potential locations and designs of future dog parks.
From that feedback, six potential sites were identified:
- 20 Avenue South Greenstrip
- Henderson Park (North East corner)
- 28 Street North (between 7 Avenue and 9 Avenue)
- Kodiak Park North
- Coalbanks Park West
- Nicholas Sheran Park (North West corner or South East corner)
Residents have the opportunity to provide feedback on the six locations and concept designs for potential new dog parks via a public survey at https://getinvolvedlethbridge.ca/dogparks.
Feedback can also be provided at the Community Conversation which will be taking place at the ENMAX Centre, January 18 3-7 p.m.
The survey will be open until January 30.
