Community members are invited to the official launch of the first-ever Reconciliation Week in Lethbridge, which will include a flag-raising ceremony.

Organized by Reconciliation Lethbridge, this event will kick-off our first annual Reconciliation Week, Sept. 18-23, 2017. Reconciliation Week is intended to foster education, awareness, and relationship building with the focus on Reconciliation. Reconciliation Lethbridge is comprised of the Lethbridge Indigenous Sharing Network and the City of Lethbridge.
The Official Launch will include a Pipe Offering, Welcoming Remarks from Dignitaries, a Healing Dance and Honour Song, a Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by a Reconciliation Walk from the Lethbridge City Hall to the Galt Museum. City Hall will be lit up in support of Reconciliation Week in yellow, red and blue from Sept. 18-21.
