Remembrance Day 2022 Service Level Changes

​Information from the Lethbridge Legion regarding the 2022 Lethbridge Remembrance Day Services:

  • The 2022 Remembrance Day Parade and Service will be hosted by The Royal Canadian Legion at Lethbridge & District Exhibition in the South Pavilion. Doors 9 a.m. with seating completed by 10:15 a.m. The ceremony will start at 10:30 a.m.
  • Another ceremony will take place beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Cenotaph on Veterans Avenue (4 Avenue South) in front of the Yates Memorial Centre, which will include a scheduled fly-by a C-17 Globemaster (subject to unforecasted operational tasking) in association with the 429 Squadron.

Remembrance Day 2022 Service Level Changes for the City of Lethbridge:

Lethbridge 311

  • The Lethbridge 311 office will be closed on Friday, November 11, in honour of Remembrance Day. Our customer service specialists will return on Monday, November 14, at 8 a.m.
  • We have a 24/7 self-service site available at to help with your questions. For urgent issues, a 24-hr trouble line is available by calling 311.

City Hall & Stafford Centre

Lethbridge Animal Shelter

  • Community Animal Services will be closed on Friday, November 11. To ensure lost pets may be returned home, individuals are asked to contact the shelter and arrange a time to pick up their pet

Transit Service

  • Lethbridge Transit will be operating on Friday, November 11 on its Sunday/Holiday Schedule. The Transit Office, including customer service, will be closed on November 11 in honour of Remembrance Day


  • ACCESS-A-Ride Booking and customer service will be closed on Friday, November 11, in honour of Remembrance Day. ACCESS-A-Ride will be running using its holiday schedule

Waste and Recycling

  • Waste (Garbage, Recycling & Organics) collection scheduled on Friday, November 11 will take place on Saturday, November 12.
  • The Waste & Recycling Centre is closed on Friday, November 11. The facility will open again on Saturday, November 12
