Lethbridge firefighters responded to a residential fire along the 100 block of Pacific Landing West Tuesday evening.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. on March 31, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services were dispatched to a residential structure fire on the westside. Thirteen firefighters from three stations responded and arrived to find smoke and flames visible from the garage. Crews were able to contain the fire to the garage and it was extinguished within two hours.
Two people were transported to Chinook Regional Hospital with smoke inhalation and other injuries. Damage is estimated at approximately $30,000.
Fire investigators were on scene this morning and the investigation to determine the origin, cause and circumstances of the fire is ongoing.
