Fire crews responded to a fire in the 700 block of 12 Street B North at approximately 5:20 p.m. Sunday.
Crews from three stations arrived to find a working fire in a bedroom of a single-family dwelling. Fire crews were able to get a cat out of the residence and quickly extinguished the fire preventing further spread.
There were no injuries reported.
Damage is estimated at approximately $10,000 and the cause is under investigation.
