Fire crews from four stations were assisted by Coaldale Fire Department as they attended a residential fire in north Lethbridge on Friday evening.
The structural fire took place in a residential home on 18th Avenue north with cold temperatures making the blaze difficult to manage. Crews were able to get the fire under control later into the evening. No injuries were sustained by crews but one resident was transported to hospital.
The fire is under investigation and a damage estimate is still being determined.
