Residents are invited to attend in-person workshops for Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan

Lethbridge residents with a connection to the Victoria Park neighbourhood (see map) are invited to in-person workshops to reimagine how new development in this area can be shaped in the future.

Workshops will be held at the Navy League building (1708 10 Avenue South) on November 14, 15, and 16, 2022, with sessions available at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. each day, pre-registration required.

Registration to attend these workshops is required. Register here.

The purpose of the Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan is to provide a long-term vision and policy guidance to shape future development in the area.

These workshops will explore the following themes:

  • Neighbourhood insights: historical background, demographics, local experience
  • Neighbourhood design preferences: housing options, mix of land uses, building and site design

These workshops are part of the engagement approach to listen to and learn from the people who live, work, and visit within the Plan Area ahead of drafting any policies. This follows on from engagement events already undertaken during the spring and summer.

Children and youth are encouraged to attend and provide their own feedback.

For anyone who is not able to attend this open house, there will be the opportunity to provide feedback online through the Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan website.
