Lethbridge residents with a connection to Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan Area (see map) are invited to an in-person open house at the Casa Community Room (230 - 8 Street South) on Wednesday April 27 between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m..
Registration to attend the open house is encouraged as a COVID-19 public health measure. Drop-in time slots are available to allow anyone interested to participate while preventing indoor crowding as a measure to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
The purpose of the Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan is to provide a future vision for the area and guidance on where growth and change make sense and how it can most appropriately be integrated.
This open house forms part of an engagement plan to listen to and learn from the people who live, work, and visit within the plan area ahead of drafting any policies. This open house will provide attendees the opportunity to share their experiences in the community and priorities for the future. The feedback gathered will be used to inform the Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan vision.
Children and youth are encouraged to attend and provide their own feedback. Information about the project can be found online and registration for the open house can also be done online.
For anyone who is not able to attend this open house, there will be an opportunity to provide feedback online starting on April 27 through the Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan website.
