Update January 25, 2023:
Due to weather delays, the new road connecting the two communities is expected to be completed and open to the public May 2023, weather permitting.

On Monday October 24, 30 Street West will be permanently closed between Kensington Road and Caledonia Boulevard West to facilitate the
upcoming Garry Station School project and adjacent Abitibi Road construction.
If weather conditions allow, this work is expected to be ongoing until January 2023, at which time a newly constructed extension of Abitibi Road West will be open.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution around the areas of construction and follow posted detours accordingly.
