Effective immediately, eastbound 6 Avenue South will be closed between 7 Street and 8 Street so crews can work on an emergency water main repair.
One lane of westbound traffic will remain open at this time, but may close as work progresses. This work is expected to be completed by end of day January 17, weather permitting.
As this road closure may impact a Lethbridge Transit route, please call 311 during business hours about possible stop closures and/or scheduling adjustments.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution in this area and follow posted detours.
