As Festival Square development continues, several road closures will commence starting tomorrow, April 26 and will be ongoing intermittently for the next couple of weeks.
On Tuesday April 26, 3 Avenue South will be closed from 7 Street to 6 Street South to sandblast of all the parking lines to be completed. This will be noisy and dusty and causing disruptions in the area but all walkways and sidewalks will remain open during this work.
On Wednesday April 27, the block between 6 Street and 5 Street South will be closed to complete the same task.
3 Avenue South is expected to reopened to traffic on Thursday April 28.
As this construction is ongoing we remind residents to be patient and follow safety precautions when passing through these areas.
