Effective immediately, 30 Street West has reopened between Whoop-Up Drive and Aquitania Boulevard West after being closed Friday due to heavy snow drifting.
City snow crews and contractors were busy around the clock over the weekend clearing arterial roads and residential streets where drifting occurred. Areas most severely affected included neighbourhoods along the western edge, the far south and the far north of the city where wind exposure was the greatest.
Access roads to Popson Park and Pavan Park have also reopened. Crews are continuing to respond to service requests received over the weekend and have resumed snow removal along Priority 3 snow removal routes.
