Take the op-paw-tunity to give feedback on future city dog parks!

The City wants to put its best paw forward and seek feedback on future dog park planning. Whether or not you are a dog owner or dog park user, all residents are encouraged to participate in the survey.

Residents have the opportunity to give their input on locations and amenities for potential new dog parks via a public survey at https://getinvolvedlethbridge.ca/dogparks.

The City currently has four dog parks:

  • Scenic Drive dog run
  • Popson off-leash area
  • Riverstone dog park
  • Pennaquim off-leash area

A fifth dog park, the Bark Park, is under development on the northside.

Last November, Lethbridge City Council voted to request options for possible additional dog parks in Lethbridge. On March 3, the Civic Works Standing Policy Committee received information on potential locations – which have been narrowed down by factors such as location, accessibility and size.

The survey will be open until June 27.
