Further to the report of a structure fire in a residence in Riverstone on Tuesday afternoon, fire investigators have determined the cause to be accidental.
One occupant of the home sustained minor injuries and was assessed by an ambulance crew on scene.
Damage is estimated to be $750,000.
Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services would like to remind residents that when extinguishing smoking materials, ensure it is always disposed of properly, in a non-combustible container filled with sand or water.
