Starting Friday, May 11, work will continue on a project to reline sanitary sewer pipes in south Lethbridge, this time focusing in the London Road and Fleetwood neighbourhoods.
This work will take approximately three weeks, weather permitting.
Residents in this area have been notified in advance in writing regarding scheduled interruptions in their household sewer service.
Motorists are advised to expect traffic disruptions while work is occurring and are asked to drive with caution, follow detours, and slow down around work crews.
The City of Lethbridge is repairing aging sewer lines with Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP), a cost-effective alternative to sewer line replacement. CIPP is a relining solution that eliminates the need to dig up roads, making it much less disruptive for residents and commuters.
