Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a cargo truck fire in the 2900 block of 5 Avenue North on Saturday evening around 10 p.m.
Fire crews from two stations responded and found the truck fully engulfed in flames coming from the front and the rear of the truck. Crews quickly extinguished the fire before it could spread to surrounding structures.
The damage to the vehicle is significant however there were no injuries reported to the crews on scene. Damage has been estimated at $10,000.
The cause of the fire is deemed suspicious and a further investigation is underway.
