Winter weather triggers City’s response plan

​The City of Lethbridge has activated its extreme temperature response plan to provide a safe and warm space for residents without shelter.

The following facilities are now open as comfort centres to provide shelter from the weather:

  • Lethbridge Public Library Main branch
    • Mon. – Tues. 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
    • Wed. – Sat. 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
    • Sun. - 1 – 5 p.m.

  • Lethbridge Public Library Crossings Branch
    • Mon. – Wed. - 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
    • Thurs. & Fri. – 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
    • Sat. – 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
    • Sun. – 1 – 5 p.m.

  • Regional Park n' Ride Transit terminal
    • Mon. – Fri. – 5:45 a.m. - midnight
    • Sat. - 7 a.m. – midnight
    • Sun. – 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
