Join Oldman River Chapter- Trout Unlimited Canada & learn the basics of fly fishing.

 All Workshops | 6:30pm-9:00pm | At Helen Schuler Nature Centre


April 8 - Workshop 1: Introduction to Fly Fishing 
In this class-based session, Josh Markle will cover the fundamentals of fly fishing
(equipment, flies, entomology, & the fish species in southern AB).

April 15 - Workshop 2: Introduction to Fly Tying 
Learning to tie your own flies can be one of the most rewarding aspects of fly fishing. In this hands-on session, Andrew Beaton will take you through the process of tying some essential patterns for southern Alberta waters. Equipment & materials are provided.

April 29 - Workshop 3: Introduction to Casting

In this hands-on clinic, Paul Harper will cover the mechanics of casting a fly rod.
Perfect for the beginner & those looking to touch up their skills.
Most of this clinic will take place outside, so please dress appropriately.
All equipment will be provided.
