On September 27, City Council approved to extend funding for the Fee Assistance program to include the provision of free bus passes to the end of 2022 for new refugees arriving to Lethbridge. This includes Ukrainians who have come to Canada under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel program.
There is limited funding available for this program. Applications will continue to be accepted until funding is allocated.
