Each year since 1970, the City of Lethbridge has participated in the Southern Alberta Summer Games by sending athletes, coaches, and other participants to represent our community in competitions that range from Archery to Baseball, Athletics to Swimming, and Photography to Cribbage.
This year the Southern Alberta Summer Games in 2017 will take place in the City of Brooks and County of Newell from July 5th-8th.
All ages and levels of competition represent the City of Lethbridge at the Games. Typically the City of Lethbridge is represented by 300+ athletes. For most competitions, anyone can enter as long as they meet the age criteria. Some team sports (like Soccer, Baseball, and Ball Hockey) will have try-outs as well as team practices; details on when these will take place can be obtained from your Regional Director in the months prior to the Games.
2017 registration dates are May 8th - June 2nd. Registration will take place on the 3rd floor of City Hall during business hours (Mon-Fri 8 am - 4:30 pm)
