General Stewart School is an elementary school featuring a playground, green space, and mature trees in a nice neighbourhood setting. The playground has slides and climbing apparatus with seating and picnic tables around the perimeter. The green space has a child sized ball diamond and 3 soccer goals ideal for practice but no soccer field. Impromptu play on sports fields is permitted as long as the field isn’t in use. Scheduled play on all sports fields must be pre-booked through Recreation and Culture.
This park is a great spot for families with younger children to spend an afternoon playing and picnicking.
Please note: dogs are not permitted on school or sports fields.
