Lakeview Park is centre point of the regional pathway system linking the river valley and coulees to Henderson Lake Park Trail system. The park is adjacent to Lakeview School and features mature trees, a trail system that is actively used by exercise enthusiasts and the surrounding neighbourhoods, and a large amount of open space perfect for children and youth to burn off a little extra energy.
The Kinette Active Park (located in Lakeview Parks) is for residents looking to exercise in the outdoors. This new “outdoor gym” has five stations spread out over a 690 metre track.
The park also features two little league fenced baseball diamonds with dugouts, concessions and a batting cage. Impromptu play on sports fields is permitted as long as the field isn’t in use. Scheduled play on all sports fields must be pre-booked through Recreation and Culture.
Please note: dogs are not permitted on school or sports fields.
