Cemetery Maps

When you drive by, it looks like a park not a cemetery. This is because all of the monuments are flat, which is called a memorial park cemetery. Archmount Cemetery was privately owned until early 1990s.

Over the years Mountain View was made up of several separate cemeteries that joined to make the present day cemetery. The cemetery is enjoyed year round by walkers, runners, cyclists and bird watchers.

This cemetery is located two kilometers south of an old mine and mining town, both called Royal View. Royal View (the town) was also known as Royal City and as Coal City.
