The City of Lethbridge’s Safety and Social Standing Policy Committee makes recommendations to City Council regarding the planning, development and implementation of municipal strategies relating to:

• Community
• Cultural
• Emergency and protective services
• Public safety
• Regulatory services
• Social
• Other items coming from reporting committees

Meetings

The Safety and Social Standing Policy Committee meets monthly on the third Thursday of every month. View our Council and Standing Policy Committee Meeting Calendar for a complete list of upcoming meeting dates.

Meetings are conducted in-person and virtually through Microsoft Teams.
