Community Safety Standing Policy Committee

The City of Lethbridge’s Community Safety Standing Policy Committee makes recommendations to City Council regarding the planning, development and implementation of municipal strategies relating to:

  • Animal control
  • Emergency and protective services
  • Public safety
  • Regulatory services
  • Other items coming from reporting committees

Meetings

The Community Safety Standing Policy Committee meets monthly on the second Thursday of every month. View our Council and Standing Policy Committee Meeting Calendar for a complete list of upcoming meeting dates.

Meetings are conducted in-person and virtually through Microsoft Teams.

Attend a meeting

All meetings are open to the public. If you would like more information contact the City Clerk's Office cityclerk@lethbridge.ca or 311.

The committee may also invite experts from the community to present information on a topic before them.
