Step 2: Physical Testing
Successful completion of an industry recognized Firefighter physical testing held at the University of Alberta, Edmonton.
Step 3: Interview
A formal interview is done with the City of Lethbridge Human Resources department as well as members of the administrative team and the recruitment committee.
Step 4: Written Testing
A written aptitude test and medical knowledge test is usually done on the same day as the scenario testing. Often the formal interview will be on this day as well.
Step 5: Scenario Testing
A medical or trauma scenario is presented to each candidate to test their EMS skills.
Step 6: Offer of Employment
When successful an offer of employment is made to the candidate.
