About the Project
This project includes the design of renovations at the Lethbridge Airport Terminal Building, and the design of an upgraded water service. The airport terminal renovations will support current and future passenger activity, and the upgraded water service will ensure proper water supply for fire response at the airport.
The consulting team for the terminal building renovation will review past studies, re-confirm the airport's functional requirements, and determine the extent of infrastructure upgrades required at the aging facility. Based on this review, a detailed scope of required renovations will be determined. Detailed design documents will be completed for an initial renovation project, and schematic designs will be prepared for work required in future phases of renovation/addition.
A proposed CIP amendment for both the airport terminal renovation and water supply upgrade will be presented to City Council for future consideration when additional information is determined about the construction renovation requirements.
A consulting team was selected to perform the design of the terminal building renovations.
