Location | River Valley - Heritage Heights to Elizabeth Hall Wetlands
|
Background
Over the past several years, Parks has been constructing
pathways that were identified in the 2007 Bikeways and Pathways Master Plan. A
river valley pathway connecting Whoop Up Drive to the Heritage Heights neighborhood
was completed in 2013 and now the remainder of the pathway will be completed to
connect Heritage Heights to Elizabeth Hall Wetlands. After completion of this
segment, a formalized pathway loop will exist from the University of
Lethbridge, through the river valley, along Bridge Drive and back to the
University along University Drive.
Scope
The scope of this project will include a 1.5m-wide limestone
pathway along with staircases to navigate the steeper slopes.
