What's the best option for managing my tires?
Reduce
Maintaining proper tire pressure and regularly rotating your tires will help your tires last longer.
Reuse
Get creative! Old tires can be upcycled into flower beds or tire swings.
Recycle
There is a special area for collection of tires at the Waste and Recycling Centre, please ask scale house operator for directions on site. Recycled tires are turned into playground surface, molded bricks and more!
Disposal
If you are unable to come to the Waste and Recycling Centre, you can call 311 and request a Large Item Service pick-up. For more information about LIS, click here.
