Request a change of commercial on-street parking duration restrictions
At the request of a business, a petition package will be provided by the City to a business owner. The requesting business owner must take the petition to all neighboring businesses affected by the restrictions and have the owners sign if they are for or against the petition.
Note: The burden of cost for the fabrication and install of signs lies with the petitioner/business as they have deemed that a change in the curbside management would be beneficial to the business. The costs associated with the fabrication and installation of new signs does make the signs or any materials associated with the new signs or installation devices the property of the petitioners or the associated business, the City of Lethbridge maintains care and control of all signs and mounting devices and will be responsible for all future maintenance of said signs and devices.
