What is On Street Parking?
Space for parking cars within the street right-of-way; on-street parking can improve access to nearby land uses, create a buffer between pedestrians and vehicles, and help reduce traffic speeds by narrowing the perceived right-of-way.
On Street parking near your residence/business is subjected to signs in place as well as the rules in place by the Provincial and City bylaws.

Our parking meters allow parking for the following durations
On April 15, 2013 City Council approved a parking meter rate change.
The approved parking meter rates are $1.00 per hour for the 38 minute, 1 hr, 2 hr and 3 hr parking meters and 45 cents per hour in the 10 hour parking meters. Our parking meters accept: nickels, dimes, quarters, loonies, and toonies except the 10 hr parking meters which only accept quarters, loonies, and toonies.
We will begin updating our parking meters with the new rate starting the week of April 22, 2013 and should be complete by May 1, 2013.
