    Seniors (65+) are welcome at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery Maansiksikaitsitapiitsinikssin from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for a free guided tour, art activity, and refreshments.

  • Play Zone May 13, 2025

    Free drop in play for parents & children under 8. Play programs offer parents and children the opportunity to have fun and interact through different play areas such as water, sand, blocks, music, art and dramatic play center. All areas encourage children to explore and create with different materials and we ask that parents follow their child’s lead.

  • Boundary Blueprints (Personal Growth Group) May 13, 2025

    This group will support individuals in developing a greater understanding of how to set and maintain personal boundaries. 

    Through discussion and education, participants will explore how honouring their own and others’ boundaries plays a role in healthy relationships and maintaining mental health. 

    Tuesdays, 5:30 pm–7:30 pm, May 13–June 3, 2025. There is no cost to participate. Participants must be 18+.

  • Troyanda-Spring Dance Showcase May 14, 2025

    Join us for a vibrant celebration of Ukrainian culture through traditional dance, colourful costumes, and rich history. This interactive presentation will explore the diversity within Ukraine and highlight key cultural attributes that make its heritage so unique. The program will also feature Troyanda, a proud representative of Ukrainian culture in southern Alberta for 30 years, showcasing their ongoing involvement and contributions to the community.

  • Dog Park Cleanup - Riverstone Dog Park May 15, 2025

    Join us each Thursday in May from 6 - 7 p.m. to raise community awareness around the importance of picking up after your pet.

    Volunteers will help remove doggy doo doo and leave a flag in its place to magnify the prevalence of this issue. These flags will stay up for two weeks to help educate the public on this issue.

  • Come Build with Us May 16, 2025

    What can you do with a paper roll tube?  How can we use this Lego block?  As children use self-expression, creativity and design they will be introduced to concepts in construction including gravity, patterns, cause and effect, stability, balance, and shape. We will also be incorporating some STEM activities. This free program is open to parents with children 2-12 years
