    Reconciliation efforts recognized by community at inaugural awards evening

    Recognition of community building and unity unfolded in a cultural celebration as the City of Lethbridge and the Reconciliation Lethbridge Advisory Committee (RLAC) held the first Reconciliation Awards evening Monday night in City Hall.

    Partial Road Closure 1900 Block of 6 Avenue South

    Effective immediately, the eastbound lanes of 6 Avenue South will be closed between 19 Street and 20 Street so crews can complete a water valve repair. Two-way traffic will be maintained in the westbound lanes. This work is expected to be complete by end of day September 28, weather permitting.

    The block of 7 Street South between 4 Avenue and 3 Avenue in Downtown Lethbridge is now re-open to the public. Thank you to the businesses on 7 Street, as well their customers, for their patience throughout this phase of construction.

    Ride-On-Demand and fare collection changes begin October 1

    Starting October 1, the Ride-On-Demand (ROD) service will require payment and Breeze cards will need to be changed to the LT Fare card or app.

    On Tuesday, September 26 the City of Lethbridge will be completing a planned power outage along 6 Avenue South and 10 and 11 Street South beginning at 9 a.m. The outage is expected to be completed by 1 p.m. This outage will affect approximately 14 residents.
