  • New Ability Skate now available

    Starting Sunday, December 3, the City of Lethbridge is introducing two Ability Skate times into its public skating schedule. The Ability Skate is a new sensory-friendly public skating program specifically designed for Lethbridge residents with disabilities.

  • Council approves funding for dog run at Animal Shelter

    The Lethbridge Animal Shelter will soon be adding a fenced dog run on its property to provide new opportunities for exercising, training and socializing dogs available for adoption.

  • Downtown construction wraps-up for the holiday season

    Traffic signals have been re-installed at the intersection of 4 Avenue and 7 Street South and the section of road has officially re-opened to vehicular traffic. With this major step, work on this project will now be wrapped up for the construction season.

  • City Council to provide emergency funding for Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre if Province matches capital support

    City Council voted today to provide emergency capital funding and a one-year deferral of loan payments to the Lethbridge & District Exhibition, contingent on the Provincial Government providing matching capital support.

  • Planned power outage - St. James Blvd. North

    On Thursday November 30, 2023 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., we will be completing a planned power outage affecting approximately 18 residents along St James Blvd North.

  • Park ‘n’ Bark Lighting Closure

    Beginning tomorrow, November 28, the Park ‘n’ Bark will once again be closed to the public to allow for the completion of the lighting project.

    The work is expected to be completed by end of day Thursday, November 30, weather permitting.

  • Westside fire Saturday afternoon

    Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a structure fire on Westside Drive at about 4:23 p.m. on Saturday, November 25.
