Community Play Box

Interested in trying a new sport but don’t have the equipment? Heading to the park to play a game of catch but forgot your ball? Look no further than our Community Play Boxes! These boxes provide opportunities for all ages and abilities to lead healthier lifestyles while enjoying Lethbridge parks.

The Community Play Boxes are filled with play and sport equipment for you to use for free. There are four boxes for you to use: Legacy Park (near the pickleball courts), Nicholas Sheran Park (near the west parking lot), William Pearce Park (near the playground) and in the Crossings at Caledonia Playground.

  1. Fill out the form below.
  2. Once you submit the form, you will receive an email with the code to open the box.
  3. Put all the equipment back in the box once you have finished.
  4. Lock the box.
  5. Come back again and enjoy!

Please return all equipment to the Community Play Box once you have finished using it. This ensures it is available for others to enjoy. Misuse (including theft of equipment) may result in being blocked from using the box. We hope you enjoy!

To open a Community Play Box, fill out this form. A code will be emailed to the email you provided which will open the lock. Inside you will find equipment to use at either Legacy Park or Nicholas Sheran Park.
