The City of Lethbridge Annual Report is a response to the question, “How does City Hall spend my tax dollars?” It attempts to provide citizens with accurate, timely information about how all municipal dollars are managed, not just those derived from property taxes. It does this in an easily-readable format that describes a clearly-lit fiscal pathway, beginning with the gathering of taxes, user fees, and government grants and ending with the expenditure of funds for quality services and programs that meet the needs of this community. This Annual Report is a cornerstone of the City’s commitment to open, transparent government.
