    With Whoop-Up Days back in Lethbridge next week and hockey season right around the corner, we are now in the summer homestretch. And it is sincerely one of my favourite times of the year.

  • Residents and businesses asked to conserve water

    With extended dry, hot weather and several southern Alberta water basins experiencing shortages, the City of Lethbridge is asking everyone to do their part in conserving water. Voluntary action now will help prevent the need for mandatory restrictions in the coming days and weeks.

  • Bridge maintenance and road closures

    Bridge maintenance work will continue this week with work beginning on Scenic Drive over 5 Avenue North bridge starting on Friday, August 18.

     

  • Partnership shows learning about nature is a walk in the park

    There is a new group of nature enthusiasts enjoying the more than 260 kms of beautiful trails and pathways in our city thanks to a unique partnership.

  • Bridge maintenance on Whoop-Up Drive this week

    Transportation Operations will be continuing bridge maintenance on Whoop-Up Drive overnight on Wednesday, August 16, and Thursday, August 17.

  • Construction underway for 7 Street South and 4 Avenue South

    The first phase of a multi-faceted construction project in Downtown Lethbridge is now underway. It consists of three main components: Watermain renewal along 7 Street South from 3 Avenue South to 6 Avenue South; Pavement rehabilitation along 4 Avenue South and 7 Street South; Protected cycling lanes along 4 Avenue South from west of Scenic Drive South to Stafford Drive South, and along 7 Street South between 3 Avenue South and 7 Avenue South.

  • Bridge maintenance on Whoop Up Drive

    Transportation Operations will be continuing bridge maintenance on Whoop Up Drive over on Thursday, August 10. The work is expected to be completed by end of day, weather permitting.
