Easter weekend service level changes

Friday, March 29, 2024 is Good Friday and Monday, April 1, 2024 is Easter Monday. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

Lethbridge 311

The Lethbridge 311 contact centre and in-person at City Hall will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, April 2 from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

For urgent issues, a 24-hr trouble line is available by calling 311.

A 24/7 self-service site is also available at 311.lethbridge.ca to help with your questions.

City Hall

City Hall will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Waste and Recycling

The Waste and Recycling Centre will be closed on Good Friday and open normal hours on Easter Monday. NOTE: Summer hours of 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. take effect April 1, 2024.

Good Friday curbside waste collection will be moved to Saturday, March 30.

Community Animal Services

Community Animal Services and the Lethbridge Animal Shelter will be closed on Good Friday and Saturday, March 30. The shelter will be open normal hours (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.) on Easter Monday.

The public can access services on the website at any time including dog license payments, appointment booking, online complaint reporting and searching a list of found pets impounded at the shelter. For emergency animal control matters, call 403-320-4099.

Transit Service

Ride on Demand and Fixed Route transit schedules will run on Sunday service on Good Friday.

Access-A-Ride

Access-A-Ride booking and customer service will also run Sunday service levels on Good Friday.

Galt Museum & Archives/Fort Whoop-Up

The Galt Museum will be open from 1 – 5 p.m. on Good Friday and closed on Easter Sunday. The museum is closed every Monday.

Fort Whoop-Up is closed for the season and will reopen on June 6, 2024. 

Helen Schuler Nature Centre

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre will be closed on both Good Friday and Easter Monday. The centre is open extended hours (11 a.m. – 4 p.m.) on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31.

Lethbridge Public Library

All branches of the Lethbridge Public Library will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
