As part of Alberta’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program, the City of Lethbridge is excited to announce an expanded list of household recyclables. Starting October 1, Lethbridge residents will have more flexibility with how they recycle at home and at recycling stations. 

Lethbridge residents will see no change in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) when the contract between the City of Lethbridge and Emergency Health Services (EHS) – Alberta ends September 30. 

Wednesday, September 30, is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

Road maintenance will close Bridge Drive West early next week.

Seasonal rattlesnake migration is underway, but they haven’t settled in for their winter sleep quite yet! Be aware and snake-safe as they return to their winter dens.

Starting Wednesday, September 23, there will be a temporary three-way stop on University Drive, at the traffic lights just south of the bridge over Whoop-Up Drive.

Starting tomorrow, September 22, work will begin at the intersection of 5 Avenue South and 6 Street South.
