Repairs to Whoop-Up Drive have been completed, following the August 6 incident, so the Botterill Bottom Road has now been re-opened. The City is also advising all Botterill Bottom Park users of upcoming changes and safety considerations during the Water Treatment Plant upgrade project.

Today, the City’s Economic & Finance Standing Policy Committee (SPC) heard the results from three recent surveys aimed at gathering feedback from residents and businesses in Lethbridge.

The City of Lethbridge's Parks team is ramping up efforts to remove Russian olive trees. 

To improve road safety, the City of Lethbridge is setting a new, consistent speed limit of 70 km/h on Whoop-Up Drive. This decision is intended to reduce the risk of serious collisions, and potentially tragic consequences, along one of the city’s busiest corridors.

With the recent stretch of cold weather, the City of Lethbridge Parks department and Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services are reminding residents to be safe around lakes, ponds and rivers. 

Phase one upgrades are complete at Henderson Ice Centre. Four new dressing rooms include private bathrooms and showers, making the facility more functional, accessible and welcoming.
