Supporting a balanced response recognizing enforcement as essential while also strengthening prevention, intervention and education, are the primary goals of the City’s new Community Safety Action Plan (CSAP). 

Following a multi-year pilot program, plowing snow to the right during snow route operations will become the City of Lethbridge’s permanent approach to snow and ice control.  

Starting the week of July 13, crews will begin installing permanent pavement markings on roads included in last year’s asphalt overlay program. 

The westbound lanes of 3 Avenue South will be closed between 20 Street and Mayor Magrath Drive South for a water main repair

The eastbound lanes on 6 Avenue South will be closed between 15 Street and 16 Street South for a sewer service repair.
