An important project to replace the bridge coating system on the westbound section of Whoop-Up Drive Bridge across the Oldman River is anticipated to start in May and take several months to complete.  

Two playgrounds are getting a colourful refresh – and we need your help choosing the palettes!

To those new to reading this: I write this monthly feature on behalf of Lethbridge City Council to keep people informed on matters of importance in the community, as well as to highlight achievements by members of our community. With the need for infrastructure upgrades, the City of Lethbridge has started a preliminary design plan for 5 Street South between 1 Avenue South and 6 Avenue South in Downtown Lethbridge.

We want you to tell us about your priorities for the future of 5 Street South.

The City of Lethbridge Electric Utility Department is upgrading residential and commercial electricity meters that are due for testing. This is in alignment with regulations set by Measurement Canada to ensure electricity is being measured accurately.
