We’re just two days away from the City of Lethbridge’s next Community Conversation where residents can participate in fun activities while asking questions and giving feedback on City programs and services.

The City of Lethbridge is thanking residents for embracing green carts as the residential program approaches the one-year mark.

“What better way to celebrate Earth Day than by sharing some positive statistics about our curbside organics program,” says James Nicholls, Collections Manager, Waste & Environment department. “We've had residential curbside organics collection for almost one year now and the data is really encouraging. We want to thank residents and the community for going green and embracing the program with such great curbside enthusiasm.”

I want to begin by reminding and inviting all our residents to the City’s next in-person community engagement event, which is coming up on April 25.

On Thursday, April 18 the City of Lethbridge will be completing a planned power outage along Meadowlark Place North and Park Meadows Boulevard North. Eight properties will be impacted. The outage is expected to be in effect between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The weekly Water Wednesday series provides information, conservation tips and expert analysis on all things ‘water’ in the Lethbridge area. This week's story shares tips on conserving water and saving money in your laundry room.
