  • 2025 Heritage Day Service Level Changes

    Monday, August 4 is Heritage Day. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

  • Bylaw 6500 - The Piers Phase 1 (1220 30 St. W)

    Amendment to Land Use Bylaw 6300 to rezone a portion of the parcel listed above to allow for the new low density residential Development as planned in the approved The Piers Outline Plan.

     

  • Bylaw 6497 - 1403 and 1405 16 Street North

    Amendment to Land Use Bylaw 6300 to rezone the parcel listed above to allow for the development of two additional units in the basement of the existing building.

     

  • Bylaw 6496 - 1830-1832 15 Ave N and 1803-1805 14 Ave N

    Amendment to Land Use Bylaw 6300 to rezone the above listed parcels to allow for the development of two additional units in the basements of the existing buildings. 

     

  • Lane closure on 13 Street North

    Beginning Wednesday, July 30, sewer work will impact a stretch of 13 Street North.

  • Scenic Drive North bridge work

    UPDATE: This work will take place August 12 and 13.

    Maintenance work is set to take place this week on the Scenic Drive overpass above 5 Avenue North. 

    On July 30 and 31, single-lane closures on Scenic Drive will be in effect and two-way traffic will be maintained.

  • City Council approves funding to complete its Economic Development Strategy

    At its regular meeting on Tuesday, Council approved the allocation of one-time funding of $475,000 from the Municipal Revenue Stabilization Reserve (MRSR) to provide temporary resources to complete and implement its Economic Development Strategy as well as potential future development-based incentives.

  • City Council approves funding for police body-worn cameras

    Starting next year, front-line officers with Lethbridge Police Service will be wearing body-worn cameras. At its regular meeting on Tuesday, City Council approved the funding requests based on recommendations from the July 10 Economic & Finance Standing Policy Committee meeting.
