The River Valley Fire Ban in Lethbridge has been lifted, effective immediately.
Recent precipitation and cooler temperatures have reduced the fire risk in the River Valley. Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services will continue to monitor weather and wind conditions. Fire restrictions may be reinstated if conditions become hot, dry and windy again.
To help keep our water system running smoothly over the next few days, the City of Lethbridge is asking everyone - residents and businesses - to cut back on any non‑essential water use.
This year’s Property Tax Notices are in the mail. Taxes are due by June 30, 2026, and a seven per cent penalty will be applied to all unpaid 2026 tax balances as of July 1.
