The survey, running from January 23 – February 7, is collecting feedback on current water conservation efforts, ways to improve conservation and potential incentives the City may consider implementing.
Due to the extreme cold weather forecast, the City of Lethbridge in partnership with this year’s volunteer group, Senator Buchanan Elementary School, have made the decision to postpone the Christmas Tree Collection that was scheduled to start this Saturday. The collection will now take place the following weekend, Saturday, January 20, 2024.

For the past 30 years the City of Lethbridge and local youth groups have partnered to ensure that Christmas trees continue to give after the Holiday Season. Over 1.5 million kilograms or approximately 95,000 Christmas trees have been diverted from the landfill since the program began. This years collection will take place January 13th, 2024.
