2026 Heritage Day Service Level Changes
Monday, August 3, is Heritage Day. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.
Lethbridge 311
The Lethbridge 311 contact centre will be closed. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, August 4, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
311 in person at City Hall will be closed. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, August 4, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Waste and Recycling
The Waste and Recycling Centre will be closed.
There is no change to curbside collection as it does not occur on Mondays.

Community Animal Services
Community Animal Services and the Lethbridge Animal Shelter will be closed.
The public can access services on the website at any time including dog license payments, appointment booking, online complaint reporting and searching a list of found pets impounded at the shelter. For emergency animal control matters, call 403-320-4099.
Transit Service
Ride on Demand and Fixed Route transit schedules will run on Sunday service.
The Lethbridge Transit customer service desk at City Centre station will be closed.
Access-A-Ride
Access-A-Ride booking and customer service will be closed.
Galt Museum & Archives/Fort Whoop-Up
The Galt Museum is closed on Mondays.
Fort Whoop-Up is open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Helen Schuler Nature Centre
The Helen Schuler Nature Centre is open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Lethbridge Public Library
All branches of the Lethbridge Public Library will be closed.
